What customers say?

“ Any friendly and you would think your mom owned the place. The staff here are very open to giving you any knowledge about coffee. The cool thing about this job is they support other small community shops in Albuquerque! Ya! The bake goods are delicious and fresh. Always taste the coffee before adding anything to it, because it’s the right way taste the real notes. Then you can destroy the coffee lol. Come in for that smile from the staff wake up to the smell of the fresh brew ”

“ Really nice place. Coffee is great. No cold brew, which is what I'm after. But the iced coffee with a shot of espresso is really good. I don't add anything to my coffee so I get the real essence of what they are serving. This is in the top 10 for Albuquerque. ”

“ Drip coffee perfection. Stopped by Plata for the first time this morning and was enchanted by their quality and service. Coffee had a full, balanced flavor profile, and the biscochito raspberry bar was absolutely sublime. Also a nice touch offering toasted/cream cheese options for the bagels. My kiddo even finished her entire hot cocoa (a first—iykyk). We’ll definitely be back soon to try a seasonal latte and snag one of their cute shirts. ”

“ Recently visited at 8 on a Tuesday morning and was immediately warmly greeted. It was very refreshing from what service has become. Not only was the Barista inviting but she made a delicious Bizcochito latte. The mugs are beautiful and the space is beautiful and very comfortable! Will be returning. ”

“ This was a lovely surprise! The unassuming location may seem like it is a business park but inside you will see a beautifully designed interior that is modern but also warm and inviting. The staff was beyond friendly and guided me through the menu options. I loved the seasonal drink of blueberry sage late. The pastries were yummy and fresh too. The environment was busy but quiet. Plenty of people working on laptops but also conversation. They seem to offer lots of events and activities including queer friendly ones! Love this spot and im excited to go again and try more good drinks. ”

“ I walked to this coffee spot to celebrate my daughters grades this morning. The woman working this morning was amazing at customer service and helping us celebrate. She offered to make my daughters coffee extra special with marshmallows. She explained everything about the menu and we felt very welcomed. ”

“ The location is beautiful and the ambience they have cultivated is welcoming. It makes you want to grab a seat and sit for a while. The service is very friendly and upbeat! It feels like a good vibe to start your day. I ordered a drip coffee for my mom and an iced tea for myself. The coffee had a full flavor, strong but, not bitter (per my mom). The iced Earl grey tea was perfection without needing any sweetener. I LOVE that they offer all their teas hot or cold. I'm not a big coffee drinker and I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Most places you go they offer a nice selection of hot teas but, only a basic iced black tea. That's very boring so I REALLY loved that they offered all of their teas hot or iced. I can't wait to try all of them AND I think I need to get one of their gorgeous travel mugs! Oh, and don't get me started on their T-shirts!!! I have the green yucca one and not only is it lovely, it is the softest, most comfortable thing to wear! It has quickly become my favorite item of clothing! You seriously need to buy one ASAP!!! ”

“ Wow! What an amazing place. Cozy vibes, yummy drink, and the friendliest barista I have met in town! Amanda was so kind as soon as I walked in the door! Try the Not Nog Latte you won’t be sorry! ”
